It’s been another interactive week for Middle School, with Ms Shelley holding the Mother Tongue information evening on Tuesday 29th September. A great roll out of parents and guardians watched on as three Mother Tongue students spoke about the programme, how it works and what they enjoy in learning in their mother tongue. Well done Kako, Mari and Emily. This week has seen a lot of information shared with parents and students. Most importantly regarding Week Without Walls (WWW). On Tuesday 5th September is the WWW parent information evening. Join us in Serangoon Hall at 5:30pm to hear more about why do we go on WWW and are our aspirations for the students whilst they are away and on their return. After the group session then each separate trip will breakout and the trip leaders will take you through the ‘ins and outs’ of their particular trip and what they have gained from experience in the past. Things are hotting up in after school activities such as ECAs and Sports. Grade 8 Students are being encouraged to nominate for House (Newton, Orchard, Raffles, Somerset) Captains. All interested parties should contact Mr Inman. Mr Inman has also sent out the ECA signup list this week. These start on Monday 4th September.
