With Spring Festival also known as Chinese or Lunar New Year, almost upon us, the students introduced us to the time honoured traditions, history and cultural significance to this festival. Well done to Ms Rong and Ms Du for organising. It has been a great week for learning in MIddle School. It’s been a privilege to work alongside the teachers on Monday as they looked to develop deeper and more meaningful ways to embed Approaches To Learning (ATLs). On Wednesday, the culmination of an IB Arts Programme saw the DP students present their final work for exhibition. The Thursday the U14 boys football learnt the valuable lesson of being the best team does not always mean you win. Then to finally end up in Sambutan and see CNY celebrations, Global Development Goals art shows, and student agency through the Student Council. How good is it to be a part of ISS!
