Well, it’s a slightly wet MS today after a very soggy Swim Gala at CCAB swimming pool on Evans Rd. Not much luck with the Swim Gala over the last few years with haze putting a stop to last years event and this year it rained the entire day (very un-Singapore like). As we are a resilient and happy bunch in the MS, the students and teachers made the most of what they were presented with and the swim gala went on as planned. Students entered into the swimming events with gusto and enthusiasm and overall a most pleasing day. Lots of happy, if not a little damp, smiles all round. Well done all concerned, and especially Ms Allan and Mr Bell (G9-10) for organising. Next week, the first reports of the academic year comes home. The Semester One Interim Report will be available via ManageBac from Friday, 14th September. This report contains a comment from each student’s homeroom teacher and an assessment of the Approaches To Learning (ATL) for each subject. The homeroom comment will review the student's start to the school year. The ATLs indicate how each student has settled into the class and the their commitment to learn. These reports can be further discussed at Parent Teacher Conferences, that happen on the Wednesday 2nd November (start at 17:00) and Wednesday 9th November (start at 15:00). Hope you all have a great weekend.
