Paterson The PTA will be running a stall at the Fun Fair to sell gently-used books and toys. If you are doing some spring cleaning and wish to donate toys in good/clean condition and books of any language, age range or subject, please look for the PTA collection boxes next week. Please however keep in mind that Literacy Week is coming at the end of February also. During Literacy Week there will be a book swap where kids will be asked to donate a children’s book in exchange for a ticket. The children can then use the ticket to trade for another donated book. If your child attends the Paterson campus, please make sure you have a book ready for your child to participate in the Book Swap. Semester 2 ECAs Information about our ECA program for Semester 2 is now available at www.isseca.weebly.com Online Sign Up for ECAs closes at 12 noon on Sunday 28th January 2018 Please take some time to review the ECA website with your child prior to the signup period. Food Bank This year we are continuing to build our relationship with Singapore Food Bank. We have supported them by collecting food and monetary donations in the past. We have Food Collection Boxes in the ES/MS Office so we can continuously collect donations to be sent to families in need. This work supports the UN Goal of Zero Hunger. We have dates set up for staff and families to volunteer. There are open slots for families to sign up for each date. Please choose any dates you are able to participate. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0e49acae2faaf49-201718 Elementary School News Providing opportunities for our students to share their learning and engage in conversations that invite them to take their learning further is an essential element at ISS.
