What a week! We started off with the International Schools Assessment (ISA). All students navigated the challenges of the ISA exceptionally well. The assessment will give us more insight into our literacy programmes and provide a valuable snapshot of data for reflection. The general consensus from students was very positive regarding the ISA. Barley any turnaround time and MS went from ISA to Parent/guardian Teacher Conferences (PTC). Always wonderful to see so many parents, family and guardians on the night. Going around and listening to conversations, suggests students and teachers are working well together. Furthermore, it reinforces the important role that parents and guardians play in supporting learning at school and in the home. A wee reminder that PTCs are not the only time parents can have a conversation with teachers. Please get in contact with your child’s teacher/s if you would like ask any questions.
