This week our students have been engaged in many activities that support learning outside of the classroom. Our Grade 11 DP English B students are reading 'The Circle' and analysing key scenes that take place in nature, our teachers took them all for a walk in Hort Park to inspire them as they emulate the style of writing by Dave Eggers. Grade 10 MYP Art students attended the 'Tree of Life-Knowledge in Material' Art Exhibition at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art in Gillman Barracks where students experienced drawing sessions in the gallery and explored the links between science - technology and craft making traditions.
We ended our week with a wonderful lunchtime concert by our Grade 12 DP Music students. Well done to all of the performers who made all of us feel special as we celebrated “Teacher’s Day’. Week Without Walls We sent letters out this week about the upcoming WWW trips.
