On Friday our Grade 10 students spent ½ of the day in a range of workshops to support the Personal Project process that they have all started. Students reviewed ATL skills, unpacked the assessment criteria and presented their chosen topic and global context to a small group of their peers and teachers. The Personal Project is a mandatory element of the MYP in Grade 10 and the grade awarded contributes towards their final MYP Certificate. If you wish to learn more about the Personal Project then please contact Mr Hoddinott on [email protected]
Last Tuesday over 50 parents came to our 'Meet the Teachers and ‘Week Without Walls (WWW)’ evening and they were provided with details about the expectations and opportunities their student at the High School can expect for the coming year. It was lovely to meet so many new parents and all our returning parents too. Details about our upcoming WWW trips were shared and we had our trip providers from Ecofields and Dorsel Effect on hand to explain the trip itineraries. The WWW blog will be available to access in the near future with updated details. If you have any questions about any trips, please contact our WWW coordinator Mr Crozier: [email protected] Communications at the High School Our new phone system allows you to directly contact the High School office on 6939 6135.
