This week our ISS High School Diploma students in Grade 11 explored the inner workings of an Apple MacBook computer as part of their Computer Science lesson. Some were quite surprised about the intricate design and fitting together of components inside! What a great hands-on lesson for these students to experience.
ECAs began this week at the High School. All students should be participating in at least one ECA, so do take the time to ask your child/ward about what they have been involved in this week. Teachers, students, parents and guardians experienced a new form of 3-way-conferences this week as Grade 12 parents/guardians, along with their child/ward, had a virtual meeting with the kampong teacher, for those who had requested this. This was in light of the recent postponement of the 3-way-conferences and has proved to be an excellent way to communicate in light of current restrictions. Grade 10 students will have this option for next week (see messages on Managebac for details) and the following week for Grade 11. The Grade 9 arrangements will be reviewed after this. Do please continue to check Managebac regularly for updates from the High School. Wishing you a restful weekend, Christopher Hayward Comments are closed.
